Terms of Service

These terms describe use of the USA HeartSaver website and online courses operated by Heart Saver USA (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or purchasing a course, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

If you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself, obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before using the service.

We provide online CPR and related training materials, assessments, and, where the stated course requirements are met, completion records or certificates. The applicable course page describes what is offered. Course content is educational; it does not replace hands-on instruction, supervised practice, professional medical judgment, or emergency services.

Acceptance of a course or completion document by an employer, licensing body, or other organization is not guaranteed. Confirm their requirements, including any in-person skills assessment or particular card issuer, before purchasing. A reference to AHA-aligned content does not by itself establish endorsement, affiliation, or issuance of an American Heart Association card.

Provide accurate account information, keep your login secure, and do not share access or submit another person's work as your own. Do not attempt to falsify quiz results or certificates, interfere with the service, access other accounts, or use course materials unlawfully. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

The price shown at checkout is the price for that purchase, excluding any applicable taxes displayed there. Payments are handled by Stripe. The currently offered checkout is a one-time purchase; it is not a recurring subscription. Your course access is activated only after payment is confirmed. Displayed renewal prices do not create an automatic renewal or guarantee that a renewal purchase option is available.

Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy. If you believe you were charged twice or paid without receiving access, please contact us with your order details; do not email card numbers.

Course text, videos, assessments, and site materials are provided for personal learning use. Do not redistribute, resell, record, or publish them without permission. We may correct errors, maintain the service, and update course materials; we will not intentionally remove paid access without a legitimate reason. Access can be suspended for misuse, fraud, or security concerns, subject to applicable law.

We work to keep the service available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from service interruptions or use of course content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including consumer protections.
